HANDBOOK 511: 1972 710M Pinzgauer

Built by Steyr-Puch in Graz, Austria, the Pinzgauer has been used by several armies around the world; this one originally served in the Swiss Army. It has since been upgraded for search and rescue work in Washington’s Cascade Mountains and is capable of hauling a team of 10 with gear.

Beyond Boundaries magazine reached out and asked me to write a story about how I found the SARPINZ and how it gets used. WARNING: I’m not a writer 😊 - but I did it anyway…
